RCS Welcomes New Principal
The RCS Board of Trustees is very pleased
to announce that Raymond Ankrum has
been appointed our new Principal and
Executive Director. Mr. Ankrum was selected
after a national search. We believe he is the
perfect fit for our school community. Mr.
Ankrum has previously held leadership
positions at several Charter Schools and
holds an Ed.M from Teachers College,
Columbia University, Masters of Teaching
from Morgan State University and BA and
Masters from State University at Stony
Brook. Mr. Ankrum's motto is "students'
first," and he is super excited to work in a
collaborative way to bring RCS to its next
level of success! Come chat with Mr.

| March 12, 2013 It’s Official! Riverhead Charter School expands to 7th& 8th grades! The New York State Board of Regents voted today to approve the charter amendment application for the Riverhead Charter School (RCS) to expand to service students in grade 7 in the fall of 2013, and will service students in 7th& 8th in the fall of 2014. |
